If you plan to stay outside of Edgartown, Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs areas and plan on exploring the island, you will likely want a car or bike. Martha’s Vineyard also has a great bus system, check out the schedule here.

Grab a bite to eat at Behind the Bookstore, a whimiscal garden for breakfast, brunch or lunch and a drink and peruse the book selection at the bookstore before or after!

Grab a pizza at Katama General Store and catch the sunset at South Beach

Get a local beer and snacks from Bad Martha’s

Pick up a coffee from Rosewater or Espresso Love and walk and shop around Edgartown (stop and get a scoop of ice cream from our favorite - Mad Martha’s)

Visit Morning Glory - a great farmstand for the most delicious banana bread on the island as well as a great food truck

Check out the “gingerbread cottages” in Oak Bluffs

Enjoy the hiking trails in Menemsha Hills

Catch the “On Time” ferry from Edgartown harbor over to Chappaquiddick for a bike ride.
